PocoPrint as a phone app: how to add it to your home screen

You can now add PocoPrint to your phone’s home screen and open it like a normal app: its own icon, full screen, no browser address bar. There is nothing to download, it takes almost no space, and the shop stays exactly the same.

Why it is worth it

First, getting back is instant. When you run out of paper midweek, you do not have to remember the address or hunt for a tab among twenty others: the icon sits next to your other apps, one tap and you are in the catalogue.

Second, shortcuts. Press and hold the icon and a short menu appears: Shop, 57 mm paper, Demo print and Cart. You land in the right section straight away, without going through the home page.

Third, connection. In a metro, a lift or a village with no coverage, a browser usually shows a grey error page. The app shows ours instead: it explains that the connection dropped and offers a retry button. As soon as the network is back, the page opens by itself.

Installing on Android

Open pocoprint.com.ua in Chrome. After a few seconds our bar “PocoPrint on your phone” appears at the bottom — tap Install and confirm. If you already dismissed it, no problem: the home page has an “App” block with the same button. Or just open the Chrome menu (three dots) and pick “Add to Home screen”.

Installing on iPhone

On iPhone the install is handled by Safari itself, so a website cannot show a button for it. Open the site in Safari (not Chrome — the option is missing there), tap Share at the bottom of the screen, scroll the list and choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Good to know

• This is not a separate app from an app store — it is the same website. No updates needed: anything new shows up immediately.
• Your cart, orders and account are shared with the browser, so nothing has to be transferred.
• Remove it like any app: press and hold the icon, then delete.
• Offline you get our fallback page, not the whole catalogue: we deliberately do not cache products and prices so you never see a stale price.
